Staying focused will help you get more done in less time and make you feel like you’ve gained hours in your day.

Even if being alone isn’t something you look forward to, you might be surprised how good it feels once you start doing it mindfully.

You don’t have to go out to eat or do activities by yourself if that’s not what you enjoy, but schedule some time for a long shower or a soak in the bath. Maybe you spend time at the massage parlor listening to soothing music while the stress is massaged right out of your body.

Figure out what alone time looks like to you and start getting to know yourself and how you are without everyone else being around. You might be surprised how much you like hanging out with yourself.

If you don’t feel you have the support you need to get alone time because your kids are constantly with you, try bartering with another mom to switch out babysitting time.
