After adjusting how many scoops I need, I found 3-4 scoops will be the perfect amount. Woohoo!! Using the iCoffee maker is going to save me money. The iCoffee maker is not like traditional drip coffee makers. Traditional drip coffee makers never brew the coffee completely or evenly which is why you use more coffee. This wastes money. This also causes your coffee to taste bitter, taking away from the perfect cup of coffee. We also have a single serve coffee maker that I love but have also realized that it is very expensive to use. The single use cups can be expensive to purchase. I bought one of the reusable cups and use about one scoop of coffee to get the perfect cup. That is 12 scoops to make a pot of coffee. I am much happier using 4 scoops in my iCoffee Maker and getting a cup of coffee I enjoy. The icoffee maker pre-steams the coffee to evenly apply proper moisture and heat. This steaming process unlocks nutrition and flavor this produces the non-bitter, non-acidic, exquisitely smooth coffee flavors.
